Why subscribe?

I am a marketing professional with over 13 years of experience across business and consumer brands. I have worked at Audi & Porsche, Caterpillar, and Nokia. I lead B2B marketing for a portfolio at 3M Asia.

Marketing is a beautiful mix of creativity and analytics. One moment, I am expected to be in your customer’s shoes and identify a creative that will evoke a response. The next moment, I need to analyze my media results and optimize my media mix to stretch the dollars. All of us marketers are great at context-switching, aren’t we?

Marketing looked different when I started my first marketing role at Nokia (remember them?). We would spend hours creating a great brief and pour marketing dollars into concept-testing our launch plans. A video asset could take months to develop.

Marketing today is far more fast-paced. And I have to confess I love the chaos and experimentation that comes along. We marketers can fall behind just by staying in our places.

I spend hours reading articles and books and listening to podcasts to learn and improve my skills. Thru this newsletter, I want to share what I learnt every week.
